The design and analysis of airplanes and spacecraft are the focus of the M.Tech Mechanical Engineering specialty in Aerospace Engineering. This curriculum provides advanced expertise in structural mechanics for efficiency and safety, propulsion systems, including engines for aerospace applications, aerodynamics, airflow, and flight performance.
Students also study space systems engineering for spacecraft design, flight dynamics for optimal aircraft control, and avionics and control systems for navigation and stability. Students who complete this degree will be prepared for professions in aircraft design, space exploration, and cutting-edge aerospace research. They will also get the skills necessary to innovate in aerospace technologies.
